The Nullagine Pool is a priority project for the Shire of East Pilbara in 2024/25 and will provide an important aquatic recreation facility for the Nullagine community. This project is a partnership between the Shire of East Pilbara, the Australian Government and Atlas Iron.
Project Update - March 2025
- Paving contractor onsite completing the construction of concrete footings for flip-up anchors, backstroke flag posts, pool hoist, and sub-surface drainage works.
- Perimeter pool paving to commence.
- Facility building footings and buildings arrive onsite, with building commissioning to commence in April.
- Pool lighting installation will commence in late March.
- Stage 1 of Garrison Fencing works to commence.
Project includes:
- 4x lane 25m pool
- 6m x 6m Toddler pool
- Change rooms
- Kiosk and first aid
- Change rooms
- Shaded grassed areas
The project is expected to be completed by mid-2025.
