Concert on the Green is excited to announce that Alternative Indigenous Rock Band The Struggling Kings, originally from One Arm Point will be head lining this year with local legend Darren Field.
Free to attend, food and refreshments will be available to purchase from The Lodge, Caddie’s Café, Pumpie Slushies and Fortescue Golf Club Bar.
The Struggling Kings are a Perth based band made up of Indigenous brothers Daniel and Mark Riches who originally hail from One Arm Point Community in the Kimberley, Western Australia and some of their best mates. Their full-bodied summer rock and country sounds have been heard at WA's biggest music festivals and now will be heard next month in Newman.
The Struggling Kings are an award winning band and have a great ability to connect with the Australian audience. The brothers use their Indigenous roots to draw out new creative blends of indie rock, country and alternative music.
