Scope
The Shire of East Pilbara (Shire) is pleased to announce that the 2025 NAIDOC Ball will be held at the Newman East Pilbara Arts Centre on Saturday, 28th June. The event start time will be 6:00pm, concluding at 10:30pm.
The Shire would like to invite expressions of interest to provide the catering service between 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Proposals should accommodate for 220 guests, with a preference for a sit-down meal, with an entree, main course and sweets to conclude. Buffet-style service is also welcome. Additionally, the service should include a selection of non-alcoholic beverages available throughout the evening.
Please note that the venue offers a small kitchen space. Meals must be prepared offsite and transported to the venue, where access to the kitchen and plating area will be provided.
A site visit can be arranged before the quotation if required.
Requirements
Specifications
The successful vendor must:
- Hold a current Certificate of Currency or Public Liability Insurance
- Ensure all OHS and safety requirements are adhered to at all times
- Provide serving staff for meals - plates and cutlery are also preferred
- Provide and serve a range of non-alcoholic drinks
- Obtain a Food Trading Permit
- Source all their equipment for meal preparation
The Shire will provide the following:
- Access to power
- Access to water
- Access to the kitchen for plating meals
- Rubbish bins and collection
- Trestle tables for serving food (if required)
- The purchase of non-alcoholic drinks (if required)
- Assistance with table service for meals and non-alcoholic beverages
