National Local Government Awards Finalist – Vote for 'Little Red in the Hood' in the Environmental Sustainability Category!
The Shire of East Pilbara's "Little Red in the Hood" is a musical theatre waste education program aimed at teaching local youth about recycling, litter prevention, and waste reduction. This engaging and interactive program reached over 450 young participants and is already showing positive behavioural changes, like increased participation in the local deposit scheme.
