Outback Fortescue Festival 2024 Announced
The Shire of East Pilbara and the Lions Club of Newman are pleased to announce the Outback Fortescue Festival 2024 will take place, at the Capricorn Oval, on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August 2024.
This newly established festival is a consolidation of the Shire of East Pilbara Outback Fusion Festival and the Lions Club of Newman Fortescue Festival.
CEO Steven Harding said, “The collaboration of these two events will create a memorable experience for our community and will become one of the most anticipated events in the Pilbara.”
“These historic events are what community is all about. The weekend will be a celebration of culture, fun and entertainment.”
This year’s event will have an array of events over two days some of which will include, live music, workshops, show rides, jumping castles, facepainting and much more. The event will also feature food vendors.
Entry to the event is free.
Each evening the festival will close with a Fireworks display sure to excite all ages young and old.
We look forward to celebrating the diversity and vibrancy this community has to offer and we hope all enjoy this exciting collaboration of the two festivals.
