Pesticide Use Notification

The Shire of East Pilbara will be conducting pesticide spraying to address urgent works on its sporting ovals.

We advise members of the public to stay clear of the ovals as per schedule below.

Site signage (where practicable) will be in place while works are in progress and how long to stay clear from the ovals.

Spraying will be undertaken in the following areas: (including surrounding green spaces)

Active Constituent - Kensban 500 Insecticide

  • Capricorn Oval Tuesday 29th September 06:30am
  • Kangaroo Oval Tuesday 29th September 06:30am
  • Goanna Oval Tuesday 29th September 06:30am
  • Emu Oval Tuesday 29th September 06:30am
  • Boomerang Oval and surrounding parks Tuesday 29th September 06:30am

Usual scheduling to return to normal on Thursday 1st October at 4:00pm.
