Queen's Birthday Public Holiday Shire Facilities And Services Changes

Please be advised that different Shire of East Pilbara facilities will be closed or operate under adjusted opening hours between the 25th - 27th September, 2021, as a result of the Queen’s Birthday public holiday on Monday, 27th September.

Newman

  • Administration Office: 25-27th September, Closed
  • Recreation Centre: 27th September, Closed
  • Library: 26-27th September, Closed
  • Youth Centre: 25th September, 2pm-5pm; 26th September, Closed; 27th September, 12pm-5pm
  • Newman House: 27th September, Closed
  • Martumili: 27th September, Closed
  • Containers for Change: 25th September, 8am-4pm
  • Landfill: 25th September, 6am-4.30pm; 26-27th September, 9am-12pm
  • Aquatic Centre: 27th September, 10am-6pm

Marble Bar

  • Administration Office/Library: 25-27th September, Closed
  • Marble Bar Fitness Centre: Member access via key
  • Marble Bar Aquatic: 27th September, Closed
  • RPT Bus: 27th September, Closed

Nullagine

  • Library/Youth: 27th September, Closed
  • Nullagine Fitness Centre: Member access via key

Due to the Queen’s Birthday Public Holiday, there will be no refuse collection on Monday, 27th September for East Newman (Zone 2).

In lieu of this change, both North and South Newman (Zones 1) and East Newman (Zone 2) will be serviced on Tuesday, 28th September 2021.

There will be no impact to the servicing schedule for Marble Bar and Nullagine. Please refer to the attached Kerbside Bin Collection Calendar 2021/2022.
